Enrolling in the BBA (DBE) program at IIM Bangalore has been a journey of growth, learning and self-discovery. I’ve always been curious about entrepreneurship and digital business, but before joining this program, I wasn’t sure how to turn that curiosity into something real. This experience has given me the foundation, exposure and practical insights to turn my interest into action. More than just academics, this program has completely transformed the way I think. It has expanded my understanding, pushed me to think critically and given me the confidence to explore new opportunities. Now, I don’t just see entrepreneurship as an idea,I see it as something achievable with the right mindset and approach.The mentorship and support within this community have been invaluable. Collaborating with diverse minds has challenged my thinking while the constant support from this community has motivated me to push my limits. I’ve gained not just knowledge but also the confidence to take real steps toward my goals. I’m truly grateful to be surrounded by such a dynamic and inspiring group of people. This program has been more than just a learning experience—it has been a transformational journey and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

My experience with the BBA (DBE) program has been fantastic. Exploring how an online degree works was exciting, and being part of the inaugural batch gives me a unique first-mover advantage. The reputation of IIM Bangalore is phenomenal, and this program has opened doors to top-tier faculty, industry insights, and real-world learning. Working with brilliant peers has accelerated my growth, both academically and personally. The community has also been invaluable for networking and collaboration. I believe this is just the beginning the best is yet to come!

The most astonishing aspect of the program is its diverse course curriculum, which makes it non-traditional and far more interesting. Althoough it is an online degree program the community engagement procedures and events always manage to keep you on your toes. In offline events, you meet a variety of people from different age groups and backgrounds, which increases your exposure and networks. We have in our syllabus age-relevant topics like web development, entrepreneurship and most importantly you will learn things you never thought could be taught. The experience is nothing less than that of an offline college. You are provided with leadership roles, inter-Zonal competitions, surprise events and much more. It is an experience that is not to be missed out on.

Everyone has to navigate their own journey, experiencing both highs and lows along the way. I am Soumya Gupta from Chhattisgarh, and I wholeheartedly credit the BBA DBE program for shaping the mindset of students like me. Coming from a business-oriented family, the thought of working under someone else’s authority was challenging. Since childhood, I have envisioned myself as a businesswoman. Through the course exploration in entrepreneurship offered by professor suresh , I rekindled my passion for business. I can confidently say that within the next two years, I will have a concrete plan in place. Organizing events like NoVa’24 helped me overcome my fear of public speaking in front of a distinguished audience, significantly boosting my confidence in this field. One of the most engaging experiences was participating in interactive discussions with my peers, where we created different rooms for brainstorming and then collaborated as a team to consolidate our ideas. It was not only fun but also an incredibly thought-provoking exercise. I cannot resist mentioning two of my favorite books so far—Design Your Thinking by Professor Pawan Soni and What to Say and When to Shut Up by Professor Rakesh Godwani. Both have been instrumental in broadening my perspective. Last but not least, attending the exhilarating networking event at IIT Delhi was a truly insightful experience, thanks to the entire IIM Bangalore team. A special thanks to Professor Suresh, who graciously addressed all our queries with enthusiasm and positivity. I eagerly look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead!

The experience at BBA DBE has been rather insightful; you’re always learning new perspectives which helps broaden your mindset and imagination. This journey has sure been one to make me realize how there is never too much knowledge, being a part of this BBA DBE community has helped me imbibe skills that I didn’t know were important, it truly has been a eye opening experience.

The BBA (DBE) program has been a defining chapter in my journey, shaping me both professionally and personally. Coming from a family rooted in business, I’ve always been drawn to entrepreneurship, but this program has given me the tools to turn that passion into something tangible. Balancing multiple studies—EMRC and IIM Bangalore—has been challenging, but it has also made me more adaptable and resilient. The connections I’ve built here, from mentors to like-minded peers, have expanded my perspective and pushed me to think bigger. This experience has not only sharpened my strategic thinking but also reinforced my confidence in building something of my own in the future.

As a mother, seeing Archit be a part of the BBA (DBE) program has been truly rewarding. The online convenience helps him balance studies with other commitments, while the diverse curriculum enhances his critical thinking. I’ve noticed a significant change in his confidence and exposure through engaging events, discussions, and teamwork. He is always eager to share insights & network with peers and industry leaders. As a parent, seeing my child grow academically and personally through the BBA(DBE)program has been incredibly rewarding. As parent I find it hugely satisfying watching my child’s academic growth and personal development flourish rapidly within BBA(DBE) program. BBA(DBE) curriculum gets structured intricately, so it imparts knowledge and fosters hands-on experience simultaneously somehow. Opportunities like competitions or projects have significantly helped my child gain real-world exposure through hands-on experience somehow. I have noticed that my child is becoming more self-sufficient and critically inclined due to their involvement. I really appreciate faculty dedication in fostering students through a pretty holistic approach of this program. As a parent I feel remarkably assured my child gains valuable skills and knowledge in this institution daily.

I have seen a massive change in his schedule and behavior as this course helped him become disciplined and career oriented by giving him exposure to the outer business world and the challenges regarding the future business opportunities.This course has also helped him know the real life business models which exist in different parts of the world and how these businesses work, what are there challenges, what are the new entrepreneurial ideas which are implemented by these kind of businesses. One thing which this course has also improved is his vocabulary and communication skills as this course has a very high focus on communication and building business relationships through the courses like persuasive communication and foundation of business communication.
