Job Title: Project Management & Operations Intern

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive and organized professional to support project management and operations for IIM Bangalore’s BBA(DBE) programme. This role will ensure seamless planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives that strengthen academic delivery, learner engagement, and institutional growth. The
position requires strong coordination, problem-solving, and execution skills to deliver high-quality outcomes across diverse stakeholders.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • Interest in gaining hands-on experience in the chosen area (e.g., community management, design, analytics, or operations).
  • Coursework, projects, or student-led initiatives related to the role will be considered an advantage.
  • No prior professional experience required; enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and adaptability are key.

Preferred:

  • Strong organizational and time-management ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Trello, Notion, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset. Experience working in academic institutions, digital learning environments, or large-scale programme management.
  • Familiarity with data tracking, reporting dashboards, and performance monitoring.

Job Roles:

  • Manage programme and community projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with BBA(DBE)’s academic and outreach goals.
  • Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, and timelines for events, digital campaigns, and operational initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including faculty, academic staff, outreach, partnerships, and marketing to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Streamline programme operations by identifying inefficiencies in learner support, content delivery, and community processes, and implementing improved workflows.
  • Translate academic and institutional requirements into actionable project and operations plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments for large-scale events, community activities, and digital initiatives, while proactively resolving execution challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, reporting requirements, and operational best practices of IIM Bangalore.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as learner engagement events, community building activities, and special projects that enhance the overall BBA(DBE) learner experience.
